SILVER PERMIT NIGHT FISHING

At 27 acres and bordered by our stretch of the river Loddon this is a fishery that is really coming into it’s own. Though the venue did lose a good number of fish in 2007, many remained and have been boosted in number with several re stockings and to date since then has recorded Carp over 38lb, Tench in good numbers into double figures and Bream averaging 13lb+

Another popular pike fishery with lure anglers in the summer and bait anglers in the winter months.

SILVER PERMIT NIGHT FISHING

An immense body of water with some incredible shoals of Bream. A very popular venue with bream and tench anglers as they are present in good numbers and sizes.

Large Eels have also been reported and a good number of decent perch.

To those that track them down, there are a great number of large carp with the largest recorded (the eye) coming out at 52lb though sightings of this fish have waned since the floods of 2007.

Very popular in winter with pike anglers.

Useful for lesser able bodied anglers as the top swims can be parked in making it possible to more or less fish from the car.

GOLD PERMIT NIGHT FISHING

A very sought after water, home to some very well known and recognised fish, sadly ‘the jockey’ is no longer but with the Brute now taking the mantel and reaching 50lb last season, Pingewood is still a water to get on.

With numerous Leaney strain carp into their 20’s and a good number of 30’s and 40’s Carp anglers form the length and breadth of the country come to tackle this venue.

Large Tench and Bream also reside here but are very rarely targeted.

BROWN-LEE POOL – (NURSERY POOL)

Situated between Farnham Flint and Englefield lagoon this small lake received extensive work during 2010/11.

Now the home of our junior tuition days and also seen as a viable and cheaper alternative for our clubs who like to fish commercial fisheries.

Already within it’s opening few months match weights were hitting 20lb+ and this will only improve as the stock grows on.

A nice uncomplicated venue for pleasure anglers and beginners with the opportunity for some large Tench, Bream and Crucians for the more experienced and a further stocking of carp in 2015.

NIGHT FISHING ON GENERAL PERMIT

Most noted for it’s good head of Tench, though does feature on the predator anglers favourite venues during the winter.

Has recently become relatively under fished but with the introduction of a venue controller and night fishing, reports should start picking up.

Another favoured lake for our carp anglers, with a good number of 30’s as well as some upper 20’s for back up.

For the all round specimen angler there are very good tench and bream to be had. Reports too of decent Rudd coming through.

Room for everyone on this 42 acre pit with level access swims near the main car park.

At 47 acres, this is no easy venue, though the rewards are there for the triers. Noted for Carp into the 40’s as well as once holding the national Bream record at the same time as threatening the National Tench record.

Good stillwater roach show all year as well as good numbers of pike during the winter months.

BRONZE PERMIT NIGHT FISHING

A popular fishery for our pleasure carp anglers.

Work has been done recently that has seen the four lakes channeled into each other to resolve the dissolved oxygen levels that can occur here in extreme weather.

This has worked and another result being that each lake now have become mixed fisheries with a sense of wilderness.

In the last 2 seasons big tench to 9lb, Carp to just under 30lb and Crucian carp of 2.5lb have all been reported.

A good venue for stalking.
