If anyone sees evidence of pollution they should call it in immediately (rather than posting on Facebook) both to the EA hotline on 0800 807060 and to Thames Water on 0800 316 9800 - particularly if it looks like sewage. Please make it clear that you are reporting an ongoing pollution incident and take a record of the incident number. For serious incidents, the TW pollution desk are able to despatch a specialist crew to the site to investigate, with arrival within two hours, day or night. You can provide additional information to the EA, including pictures or video clips, by email to ics@environment-agency.gov.uk Also let RDAA know on info@rdaa.co.uk. Feel free to post on Facebook but only once it’s been properly reported and logged. That way we have more chance of getting something done.
