RDAA exchange permit information 2024/25

We now have exchange permits with Hartley Witney Angling Society, Godalming Angling Society, Civil Service Angling Society and South Cerney Angling Club as well as shared water arrangements on the Thames at Wallingford and Oxford with Littlemore AS and the Jolly Anglers. This substantially increases the fishing opportunities for our members. The shared water info is on the relevant venue pages and you can find all the details on booking the exchange permits BELOW

Hartley Witney Angling Society (HWAS)

HWAS have some excellent waters in the Yateley and the North Hampshire area including 8 lakes and several productive stretches of the lovely little River Blackwater which can provide superb winter sport to either stick float or roving tactics. Being a short river catchment the Blackwater fines off quickly after heavy rain so when the Thames, Loddon and Kennet are barely fishable you will often find the Blackwater in prime condition.

The permits are for daytime fishing only and at Church Farm the fishing on the back lake is restricted to HWAS members so please respect these conditions.

NOTE - Church Farm requires key access

All venue details and rules can be found on the HWAS website here.

Please read before fishing their waters and check to avoid any clashes with their match fixtures or water closures for maintenance.

Collecting your Exchange Permit

You can now book two of our four HWAS exchange permits online via your Clubmate App. for their venues not requiring a key, which are all except Church Farm.  If a key is required for Church Farm then phone or call in at the Farnham Flint Hut to book out your permit and key and arrange collection. You must show your current RDAA permit to be eligible. It is important you make sure that you return it straightaway after fishing - either to the Hut or post in the compound letter box at Flint if after hours.

They also have some lovely stretches of the Upper River Wey holding good chub, perch and the occasional barbel.

South Cerney Angling Club (SCAC)

The SCAC main waters and fully licensed clubhouse are located in and around the village of South Cerney, in the heart of the Cotswold Water Park, about 4 miles south of Cirencester and 10 miles north of Swindon

They have a varied selection of waters from the very well stocked smaller lakes of Gillmans and Staits to the more traditional gravel pits holding specimen carp, tench, rudd and bream of Ham Pool, Whitefriars, Dab Chick, Franklins and Stanton Lake.

For river anglers there are miles of the Upper River Thames available, from Cricklade, Castle Eaton, Hannington and Inglesham  to the wider slower stretches at  Kelmscott.

These stretches hold specimen chub, barbel and perch and are well worth a visit.

All venue details and rules can be found on the SCAC website here.
