Fellow Fisherman,
Thank you for looking at our web page with reference to the above.

The Club consists of approximately 200 anglers aged from 16 to 70 years of age. It is a very friendly Club and we meet once a month throughout the year for our meetings at a Pub in Reading. The R&DAA’S General Secretary and several of the Association's Bailiffs are members of the Club.
We have no waters of our own and Membership consists of an R&DAA Permit only.
The cost for 2012-13 season is for a Senior £60-00. OAP/RDP £32.00 Junior £13.00. There is no price increase on last season as we have absorbed the RDAA price increase.
The 2012-13 Match venues are shown below and are regularly attended by 12 – 15 anglers however you do not have to fish these matches as a member.

ADVENTURE ANGLING SOCIETY
Adventure Angling Society currently has about 200 members. We have been the largest club in Basingstoke for some years and continue to offer good value for money in fishing terms.
Our current venues include popular Willow Pool; a man made reservoir of about an acre stocked with carp, bream, chub, rudd, roach, perch, barbel and inverted goldfish. Other fish known to be in the venue in the past include Crucian Carp, Rainbow Trout and Tench, although reports of these fish have dwindled through the years. The quiet ambience of this venue adds to the good fishing, and it is available year round, although we do ask that junior members are accompanied by a senior/OAP member as the venue is deep with steep banks.
Add to this ALL 32 miles of the Basingstoke Canal (scene of many national championships recently) and you can see we are very good value for money.
We also provide exchange tickets with RAE angling for the River Blackwater at Eversley, Swallowfield AC for the River Loddon and with Staceys for their lakes at Soke Road and Barlows Lakes at Tadley
Affiliated for over 40 years we are active supporters of Reading & District Angling Association with Executive Council representation. It goes without saying that by far our most popular venues are the waters of RDAA, which include Rivers Kennet, Loddon, and Thames, Kennet & Avon Canal, together with 13 specimen lakes, many of which are available all year.
With a very well run match section that is self financing (i.e. none of our members cash supports the fewer match anglers) we offer the most varied fishing whether it be match, pleasure or specimen angling.
We believe that with two newsletters a year and approachable committee members we also offer outstanding value for money for a season of fishing and we are always happy to accept new members from anywhere in the country. Some of our current members live In Wales, Scotland, Kent, Devon and even Northumberland.
Our prices for 2012/13 Season for all the above are as follows:-
SENIOR |
£80 |
JUNIOR |
£30 |
OAP/DISABLED |
£45 |
Already have an RDAA ticket but want to fish our own waters? Then other prices without RDAA ticket are available.
